GRAFT Foundation since its inception in 2009 through its Hope Projects, has changed the lives of over 1,000 people through reconstructive plastic surgery in all ten (10) regions of Ghana. GRAFT Foundation in 2019 will provide free surgeries for 100 needy people living in the Volta Region
from 1st June to 8th June, 2019 at the Volta Regional Hospital, Trafalga-Ho.

Anomalies to be corrected include but not limited to congenital birth defects including cleft lip & palate, syndactaly, extra digits, neurofibromatosis, post burn contractures, genital filariasis, tumours and other swellings. 

A 5 months intensive awareness and publicity campaign has been put in place which includes TV and Radio Interviews, Adverts and Jingle airplay, News print publication, Posters and handbills distribution. Our media partners include but no limited to all radio stations across the Volta Region of Ghana.

Screening and selection of Patients for surgeries will take place at various centers in Ho, Denu and Dambai in the Volta Region from 7th May to  10th May, 2019.

Surgeries are free but Patients are advised to present National Health Insurance Cards to cater for beds and other consumables to relief the burden of host facilities.

Our medical team is made up of  Plastic Surgeons from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Korlebu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital. Notable amongst them is Dr. Kwame Abrokwaa-Yankyera, Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso, Dr. Paa Kow Hoyte-Williams and Dr. Kwesi Okumanin Nsaful. Other team members include staff and volunteers from hospitals across the 10 regions of Ghana.
